Special Statements and Tips

1. In 2001, the Ministry of Education enacted the Interim Regulations on Higher Education Qualification Registration (Jiaoxue [2001] No.4), which clearly stated that all qualification certificates shall be registered online and those failed to be registered would not be recognized by the State.

2. In 2004, the Ministry of Education made an announcement (Jiaoxue [2004] No. 25) that reaffirmed CHSI website (//www.ionsui.com) was the only qualification certificate inquiry site.

3. In 2005, the Ministry of Education promulgated the Regulations on Higher Education Students Management (MOE Decree No.21) which stated that all colleges and universities should adopt the online registration system of qualification certificates.

4. Users who want to verify certificates of upgrading from non-degree undergraduate program to bachelor’s program are strongly recommended to ask the certificate holder to also provide the online verification report of his or her non-degree undergraduate qualification certificate so that both qualification certificates can be verified at the same time.
