China Higher Education Student Information and Career Center (CHESICC) is an institution directly under the Ministry of Education, specializing in college enrollments, student records, qualification certificates and employment information services for students of higher education institutions. Its predecessor was "National Career Center for College and University Students".

In 1998, under the approval of the State Commission Office for Public Sector Reform (SCOPSR), it was renamed as China Higher Education Student Information and Career Center with a new function of student information inquiry. In 2001, CHESICC was commissioned by the Ministry of Education to offer technical, transactional and online inquiry services related to the online registration, verification and recording of higher education qualification certificates (HEQC).

After years of great efforts, CHESICC has grown into a student information database for college admissions, student records and qualification certificates, employment information and student loans. Based upon the large database and China Higher-education Student Information (CHSI) website, we have developed many e-government platforms about college student affairs for the Ministry of Education and other relevant entities and provided student information inquiry services across the country.
